Alas Harum Bali: the ultimate Instagrammable spot near Ubud

Are you coming to Bali for swings, bird nests and day clubs overlooking rice terraces? Then Alas Harum Bali is the place to be. I have to admit, this kind of attraction isn’t really our thing. Still, we decided to check out this popular spot. There’s so much to do here that it has a bit of an amusement park vibe. But its location among the Tegallalang rice terraces, combined with the available facilities, makes it a unique experience. Let me tell you more about Alas Harum Bali!

where is alas harum bali

Alas Harum Bali is located in the idyllic, hilly area of Tegallalang. It’s just a 20-minute drive from the center of Ubud. The rice terraces of Tegallalang are considered some of the most beautiful rice terraces in Bali, so you can enjoy multiple highlights in one place.

What can you do at Alas Harum Bali?

Alas Harum Bali is all about Instagrammable spots. Think of various swings, sky bikes (for one or two people), swing beds, bird nests and ziplines. You’ll also find a large glass platform with stunning views of the rice terraces and a “dancing” bridge. There are so many fun little photo spots scattered throughout the area. Because the grounds are quite spacious, you often won’t be bothered by crowds. You can take your time and enjoy capturing great photos in peace!

In addition to these unique attractions, you’ll also find some impressive sculptures, such as the Gorilla Cave, the Topeng CavePekak Brayut and a statue of Soekarno, the founder of Indonesia, made entirely from woven bamboo.

At Cretya Lite, you can order traditional Indonesian dishes. In the mood for sandwiches, pastries, croissants, smoothies, or coffee? Then Srikandi is the place to be. All these spots offer beautiful views over the rice terraces.

True coffee lovers can also join a special coffee tour, where you’ll learn all about the famous Kopi Luwak (civet coffee) and even get the chance to taste it.
