One of the biggest advantages of visiting Cyprus in November is the pleasant weather. While much of Europe is already wrapped in mist and cold, Cyprus still enjoys a late-summer climate. Daytime temperatures typically range between 20°C and 25°C, making it perfect for hiking, sightseeing or even a few relaxing hours at the beach.
Do note that temperatures drop quickly after sunset, as the sun sets around 4:45 p.m. Evenings can feel quite cool, especially in the Troodos Mountains, where nighttime temperatures can fall to around 10°C. Still, we found it perfectly comfortable to dine outdoors, just with a light sweater. Along the coast and in lower areas, nights stay milder, averaging around 15°C.

My experience in Cyprus in November
I have to admit, I am not the kind of traveler who seeks out warm destinations in autumn just to enjoy the sun. I like to stay active, go on road trips, visit beautiful places and, most of all, take photos. When the weather happens to be pleasant, that feels like an extra gift. And Cyprus really is one big gift in November.
With sunshine, comfortable temperatures and countless photogenic spots surrounded by warm autumn tones, it is a joy to explore. The calmness at this time of year is perfect too. We drive through the Troodos Mountains for hours without meeting anyone else, surrounded by winding roads, colorful trees and endless views.

In November, nature on Cyprus seems to come alive. The Troodos Mountains are especially beautiful at this time of year, with valleys glowing in shades of red and brown and charming villages tucked between the hills. It is a perfect destination for hiking enthusiasts.
Trails such as the Vateri Trail in Kakopetria offer peaceful walks surrounded by warm autumn colors, the gentle sound of flowing water and a sense of calm that is hard to find elsewhere. Another highlight is the Akamas Peninsula, a wild and rugged nature reserve in the northwest of Cyprus, with dramatic cliffs, deep ravines and breathtaking views over the sea.

History and culture
Cyprus has a rich history that dates back to ancient times. Visiting archaeological gems such as Kourion or exploring abandoned villages like Agios Sozomenos is especially rewarding in November, when you can experience these fascinating sites without the usual crowds.

Beaches without crowds
Although the sea is cooler than in summer, the beaches of Cyprus still have great appeal. In November you can enjoy quiet, deserted bays and take long walks along the shore without encountering many other people. It is the perfect time to experience the island’s coastline in complete peace.

Sleepy villages in the Troodos Mountains
In November, the villages in the Troodos Mountains seem to fall into a gentle slumber. It is wonderfully peaceful as you wander through the narrow streets, still draped with colorful bougainvillea. Some restaurants close outside the summer months, but there are always enough open to enjoy tasty local dishes.
Cyprus is very affordable in November
Traveling to Cyprus in November is much more budget-friendly. Flights, rental cars and accommodation are far cheaper than during the busy summer months. This applies both to luxury seaside resorts and to small, family-run guesthouses in the traditional mountain villages.
Traveling around Cyprus spontaneously
In November, you can easily travel around Cyprus without booking your stays in advance. Because it is low season, many lovely places still have rooms available at the last minute, often at very attractive rates. It is the perfect time for a relaxed, flexible trip across the island.
